A height meter on the side of the spring assist system lets you accurately set the height infinitely between the 5 and 10 feet. The spring assist system effectively balances the goal such that a 5 year can easily raise the massive backboard and rim to 10 feet. Once raised the system is as rigid as a fixed height basketball goal, giving you the ultimate playing experience at any height. There are no buttons to set or levers to lock. Once you have raised or lowered the system to the desired height, just stop turning. The entire mechanism is internal and safe for children to height adjust. The height meter is custom set for your playing surface so that the meter is exact at 10' of height.
