The system is everything they say it is. The support and customer service is top notch. All in all, I love it! The things that I can see that would make the system even better is change the gear ratios in the height adjustment mechanism to allow the adjustment handle to more quickly change the height of the rim. If you have a wide age range of kids using the system and you are constantly changing moving the rim from 10' to 6' and back again, you will quickly realize that the current adjustment mechanism is slower and more tedious than you want it to be. Additionally, it would be nice if the height adjustment sticker would be weatherproof (laminated maybe?). I could see the sticker deteriorating in the elements (Chicago) and falling off in a few years.

I installed the product around my new pool house. People that come over are playing basketball more than swimming because they can't get over the quality of the goal. We have already spent hours playing on it and I don't see it coming down anytime soon. I'm not a light weight, but I can go and dunk on the goal with out it budging. The backboard has the same response as a professional goal. For the price I should've bought two. Best money I've spent in years.

I did a lot of research on out door basketball adjustable systems, both online and at sporting good stores. The pro dunk system was the best price for the quality of the system. It's fairly new. I live near the ocean and it's been raining a bit in the past couple of weeks. So cannot comment too much on the weather resistant aspect. I have had friends over to play pick up games and they have commented on how stable the back board is. We have lowered the rim to practice dunking and still the system was pretty stable. One advice on installation: instead of mixing bags of cement; just order a third of a yard of cement from your local dealer. Its; cheaper and much quicker to pour all at one time!

I just re-landscaped my entire backyard. This hoop has added another 'wow' factor as a result of it's size and stature. The kids absolutely love it, and I don't have to worry about them hurting it. (I have 4 boys ages 10-17 that all play travel or high school level ball.)

I haven't had the product long enough to comment on weather resistance. Although some pieces are heavy we were able to assemble with only 2 people. If installed properly this system is very stable. My family loves it!!!

We chose this model due to cost. The systems performance is simply unbelievable. The backboard response is identical to that of an indoor competition system (schools). My 7 year old daughter can adjust the system without any difficulty. The quality is exceptional and I am confident that we will use this system for many years to come!

I spent a couple months off and on researching different hoop systems, trying to get the most for my money. I wanted a hoop that could withstand the rigors of two or more dunking teenagers. I am pleased to say that the Pro dunk Gold system has been great, especially the quality materials and ease of adjustment. The hoop has given my home-schooled kids an outdoor outlet for their pent-up energy. The hoop is easy enough for my 5 yr. old daughter to adjust, once you show her the proper direction! Her confidence grows with each made basket. My older boys (9 yrs. & 11 yrs.) keep the hoop at 10' for working on their shooting skills, but lower it on occasion for a game of dunk hoop. I am confident that as they grow older, this hoop will stand the test of time. Just what I was looking for.

I like how solid everything is. I called to have system expedited and the response was great. Directions to setup are not as clear as they could be but manageable. Dropped plastic height measurement piece and it cracked a little too easily. Overall a bit expensive but so far worth it.

I was a little reluctant to spend the extra money on this system... but I'm really happy with the results. The system is very stable...I weigh 240lbs and I can hang from it without concern... I have 3 young children and they are able to adjust it very easily... It looks professional and everyone he see and/or uses it is impressed with it...

The hoop is great! It was easy to set up and seems incredibly sturdy. The rebound off the rim is relatively stiff but play off the glass is predictable and solid. Adjustment is easy but it doesn't move quickly due to the weight of the system. Wonderful product!

I was a little nervous purchasing a basketball goal off the internet. But, I'm happy to report that the entire process went very smoothly. After placing the order, Produnkhoops sent shipping emails. The carrier also called us to inform us when the hoop system would be arriving. Their driver had a pallet truck and was able to load it into our garage without any help. We then lined up a contractor to do the concrete work for the pillar and add a little bit more driveway space. The actual installation of the hoop system was very easy. Apart from the concrete work, I was able to do all the steps myself except for raising the backboard. You really do need three strong guys total for the job...the backboard job needs about 10 minutes of work, but you still need the three guys. (Incidentally, the backboard for the Gold system weighs about 150 lbs. Yup, get your three guys lined up for about 10 minutes of work.) With a level mounting base set in the concrete, I found that I needed NO further adjustment of the leveling nuts on the bottom of the hoop base; everything lined up nicely and was straight and level out of the box! Installing the hoop takes about 45 minutes total once the concrete pillar is in. I've been quite impressed with the hoop. It's true that my (scrawny) 6 year old has no trouble raising and lowering the hoop! The system is very sturdy and looks great. I was glad to save money over the comparable hoops that I had researched in my search for a basketball goal system. My only regret? On paper a 60 inch backboard sound big. When we actually started playing with the hoop, I saw the advantages to the larger backboards...we could have used a bigger board!

We have two teenage boys who play basketball at school and in the summer. One is in high school and one in middle school. Our home has become the place for impromptu practices for the high school and the middle school boys in our town. We added this goal to a new half court concrete slab in our backyard. It was the perfect goal system for our new backyard court. It is as much like playing on the goals in the school gyms as we had hoped it would be. It is very easy to adjust. I installed it with the help of my sons. The only thing that required a little help was actually installing the backboard onto the system. The backboard was a little heavy to hold in place and attach at the same time. Other than that it has been all it was advertised to be.

The system is well-designed and built. It was simple to install. Rock-solid performance. Everybody who has tried it out loves it. Little kids can use it also. I spent more than I originally planned, but I have no regrets, as this system is even better than I thought it would be. It is also very attractive and does not cheapen the look of my house. I dug a 4 ft deep hole to get below the 42" frost line here and added an extra cage of galvanized wire fence fabric around the rebars provided. I coach basketball and my kids use it for practice. It is better than our school's hoops!

The hoop has met all my expectations. The pro dunk gold is easy to adjust up and down (adult not a 7 year old). Materials are heavy duty and the online / phone support is excellent. I purchased the weather guard and we are going into its first winter here in MI so hopefully it will live up to expectations. By far the best system I have played on in a driveway ever. Wish I had this hoop while growing up. Being based out of Houston TX and info on the website led me to believe that this was made in the USA. The made in China printing on the box was a bummer.

I use Gold System to shoot hoops with my 7 year old kids and practice my game. I love that I can easily lower the hoop when I play with the kids and then quickly adjust it back to 10 feet when I practice. In fact, it's so easy to adjust my kids do it themselves.

I love the Hoop it has been very good for my family. I am out playing on it at least 4-5 times a week. It has held up to the dunks and the extra play from other friends and family. The one thing I wish could be better is when dunking on it, it seems to wiggle and I was not ready for that. Other than that it has been perfect. Thanks

The hoop system is all I wanted in a home unit and more. I bought it for for 4 year old( at least I told my wife that) and he loves it. It was the only one I saw that adjusted to 5 feet. He now shoots on 7.5 feet and he can adjust it himself. I called in the pros for installation. Friends and family are impressed. The only weakness is the heigth indicator. It's plastic and mine already cracked on one side. Hope it stays intact. Oh, well. I have a tape measure anyway. The free ball is good quality but the pump arrives crushed. I would recommend this system to anyone. Glad I did intense research. And if you live in MA, use Mr. Hoop for installation. They were great.

Put two of these into the back of my fraternity during a summer project. First off they look amazing, they complement the concrete court perfectly and make it look really professional. The frame is strong although it will shake if your dunking, the rims are both sturdy and have a good bounce and the backboard has fantastic response. All in all the hoops themselves are perfect for what I was looking for, a hoop that can handle being dunked on by college kids (whether its lowered to 5 feet or for those who can actually dunk on 10) as well as a very reactive backboard for the more intense pickup games. You have to be prepared to spend a little more to make it happen and the set up can be somewhat confusing at points but if you watch the youtube video it makes things overall quite simple and if you've put anything together before its a breeze.

Was a little reluctant to spend the extra money for a residential goal. But after spending several thousand dollars on the court I was looking for a higher quality hoop then what you find in the retail stores. The ProDunk Gold system was exactly what I was looking for. It is a very solid system. You get a realistic bounce from rebounds. The hoop adjusts low enough that I had a third grader dunking and hanging on the rim. Setup instructions were precise and easy to follow. Easily done with minimal construction skills.

We love this goal. I was worried about the backboard taking so much wind due to the setup we had to go with, but this goal is a tank. The primary reason for the purchase over other adjustable goals was the very low 5 ft mark. My son is addicted to dunking and the normal 7 1/2 low end would take him 2 more years to get to. Adjusting the height with ease is important. Smaller kids want to dunk and the easy adjust makes it possible without a hassle. Try and crank one of those brands in the stores. they have very poor designs. This product has the lowest height available. Padding looks and feels well made and not just some feature to help sell the product. Also, the recommended local installer from Pro Dunk did a perfect job.

The post I received had the mounting flanges for the crank welded in the wrong location. I spent a lot of time convincing folks that there was a problem, then wating on the replacment parts to arrive. Other than that, I am very pleased with the heavy duty construction, apperance and solid backboard play. The goal has seen a lot of play time from my boys and their freinds in the neighborhood. If you guys would send me a free driveway stencil kit for my trouble, it would be much appreciated and I would totally forget my installation woes.

This is the only product I found in this price range where the backboard extends 4 feet off the baseline for safety and under the basket play. We have used for 6 months now and have had no issues or concerns about the product.

Overall a good product. 2 major drawbacks are the adjustment mechanism is tedious. I have young kids who use it a 5 feet and older kids who use it at 10ft. It takes a lot of cranking to raise it from 5ft to 10ft. The second drawback is the 4 foot lever arm, it eats up the court. Make sure you have a big enough court to accommodate this hoop.

I palyed Division I college basketball and have very high expectations of the product. I could not be more pleased with it's performance. We have 4 kids, varying in ages from 14 to 15 monthes. Our 14 year old likes to have dunking contests with his buddies, as well as some pretty competitive games at home. Then we can adjust it down so our 5 and 7 year old girls can shoot on it and have fun as well. Overall, a great goal for the whole family!

The only Drawback is the handle for raising and lowering it too long. These hoops crank very easily, so a shorter handle should come with it giving the buyer a choice of which to use.

Takes a lot of concrete - but that's ok. We asked for a warranty on the "lifetime" backboard warranty - we were told the backboard was covered for shattering, but never could get that in writing - so who knows...? The cover over the base plate is already rotting from sun & rain; The basketball is already no good - not good quality. Other than that - we love the goal!

There is a limited lifetime warranty on your system covering any kind of basketball play including dunking and hanging. You can find this warranty in the back of your user manual that came with the system or download it from the Support section of the website. A terrific system that gives a gym-like feel to outdoor basketball. Our Pro-Dunk hoop has allowed us to make instant friends with all the neighborhood kids. Minor complaints are bouncing of the system when lowering the height of the rim (even after loosening the bolts at the hinge points). Also, we just installed the system about 2 months ago and I have noticed some rust on the bolts (we live on the coast and we got the RustArmor package). However, overall this is a great basketball system and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about spending a few extra bucks for a quality goal.

Here's the long and short of it. Went with the Gold system, and am *VERY* happy I did. My 6 year old son loves to dunk and can adjust the height up and down with ease. This thing is solid as can be. It'll survive hurricane... not that we have them in California. But you get the point, and I'd buy it again. The neighbors are jealous. I installed it myself, although my concrete guy did the pillar when he was at my house doing other work. The system can easily be installed with only one other person. It only took about 30 minutes to get bolted up, and then another 30 or so to adjust to square, plumb, level, etc. Piece of cake, really. If you're doing the concrete yourself, that'd be time consuming to mix up in a wheel barrow. I obviously didn't deal with that. Two minor issues to note: 1. The backboard does bounce when adjusting the height downward. I've adjusted the tightness/looseness of the bolts over and over to get rid of it, but I'm not able to completely eliminate it. They're loose enough right now where the system does have some play when the ball hits the backboard on a normal shot. So I think it is probably too loose right now, yet the bouncing still persists. The next step is going to be to disassemble, coat every single bolt with grease, and reassemble. I had only inserted grease into the sleeves previously, and there must not be enough. I think this will take care of the problem. 2. There is significant play on dunks when you have the system lowered near the bottom end, say below 6.5 feet. This is normal, and it goes away completely by 8 feet or so.

I purchased this for my 2 children ages 14 & 11 and since it has been set up there has not been a day that they have not been out using it. My son is shorter than my daughter and he loves to lower it to dunk. This is perfect for a large court or a small back yard.

I'm glad I researched the field and made the decision that I did because this goal is without a doubt the gold standard of at-home basketball hoops. My main concern was the ability to get a 2 and 5 year old some early basketball seasoning and the ease of raising and lowering this unit to accommodate them has been perfect. We can go from 5 to 10 feet with ease and the unit has been everything I could have asked for, not to mention the talk of my buddies who are now in the market to add one for their families as well.

My family really enjoys the hoop system. I installed myself - concrete was the worst part. Hoop itself went up in less than an hour. It's especially windy where I live and when the wind is blowing 20-30 MPH the hoop doesn't even shake. My four year old can move it up and down by herself! My kids love to hang on the rim and the hoop doesn't seem to mind one bit. Overall very satisfied with construction and performance of the basketball system.

Now I know why Pro Dunk Hoops has won "Hoop of the Year" for four years in a row. The day that the hoop was finally in place and ready to play with we had numerous boys stop by and play. I have two sons and one daughter. One of my boys is not athletic and does not care for sports at all, but he plays just as much as the other two kids. He loves how easy it is to raise and lower the hoop. I love how low you can lower the backboard because I don't need a ladder to clean off the glass. We purchased the light system add-on and my kids love that they can keep on playing well into the dark. One of the best investments I have made in a long time. I didn't buy it to make my neighbors jealous, but everyone I talk to says how much they wish they had one just like ours. I always refer them to Pro Dunk Hoops.

We live on a hill and receive high winds. The system is rock solid. Very impressive, doesn't sway or move at all. Easy to adjust, our 6 year old can raise and lower it. Customer service was excellent as well. Contacted about splitting the shipment so that we could receive the J-bolt and pier system early for the installer - had it within 24 hours.

My son is having a blast. The system appears to be of top quality. The bounce off the backborad and hoop are very close to professional systems. You can't cheat and bank a foul shot off the backboard as you can on lower quality systems. Over all very happy with the system. A bonus for me is being able to lower the hoop to 6'5" so that my five year old can shot and have fun as well.

Playing games with kids, and practicing very hard. I played at college level and dunking feels exactly the same as on a regulation gym court. The kids shoot everyday and we have gotten a lot of use out of it in just a month. The breakaway rim is solid, and general structure is solid. The bankboard does shake or move a little more when lowered below 7 foot when dunking, but overall great.

I purchased the ProDunk Gold. During the setup process I got a feel for the quality of construction. All materials were high quality and in good condition upon arrival. If you are moderately handy the goal is simple to setup. Once installed the goal plays great. Solid backboard response with minimal movement. My youngest is just 4, so being able to easily adjust the height down to 5.5 feet is great. I was leary of buying this goal from a direct sales only company online without being able to inspect a sample first, but the height span on it and presumed price/value made me take a chance. I can now say that this goal meets or exceeds the quality of any I have seen short of a gymnasium setup. I got the rust armour so I expect this one to last a long time, but I would buy this goal again.

We just recently installed our goal, but love everything about it so far. Installation after digging the hole and pouring the concrete was very quick and simple. Everyone that comes to our house is very impressed with the looks and play of our new goal. Everyone loves to DUNK!!

Product was easy to assemble, did it myself in less than an hour. Crank handle for height adjustment is awkward to use and a bit slow to adjust. Backboard is extremely ridgid and plays really well. Wished I had done this sooner, the kids are out there playing all the time. The best part is that it did not blow over in thenlast wind storm and go through the car windshield like the last hoop. .

My high-schooler, middle-schoolers, and grade-schooler can all use the pro dunk hoop for home practice as well as playing around. My high-schooler and friends can lower to dunk, hang on the rim, etc, and it is very tough and stable.

Myself, my children and their friends use this basketball hoop to both practice and for pick up games. We have had some of the less expensive hoops before, but they always seem to be flimsy and do not hold up under weather conditions. As our boys got a little older and became more proficient in basketball, it became evident that we had to purchase a hoop with more stability and a glass backboard. The only negative about the hoop might be that it is a little difficult to adjust, mainly for the smaller kids. Overall, We love it!!!!!!!

Our Family plans to use our new goal to have fun togehter as our girls learn to play basketball. In the 2 short months we have had our goal, our Family time togheter is priceless and it is wintertime who knows ho much we will use it when it is warm - even my WIfe is out there shooting hoops! Our Austrailian Shepherds, Boomer and Roo, have proven to be great defenders! Who knew? We especiallly thank you Pro Dunk Hoops for the careful coordination with Santa and using a big truck to deliver this goal instead of taking so much room in his sleigh. Pro Dunk Hoops really are slam dunks!

The goal itself is great. The backboard response is the best of any driveway unit I have ever played on and the adjustment mechanism is easy enough to operate that my 7 year old daughter can adjust it to the height that she wants. But I am disappointed in the post-sale service. When I inspected the goal after the professional installation the weather cap on the bottom of the adjustment arm was torn. I contacted ProDunk to get a replacement cap and they told me they don't stock just the cap - I would have to BUY the entire arm to resolve the issue. They also said that it would not be covered under warranty since it was damaged during installation. I have no idea when it was damaged but it's extremely disappointing that my expensive brand new basketball goal has a damaged spot an easily replaceable part and the vendor basically washed their hands of it. So, I recommend, but with a caveat.

Overall a great hoop. It is very solid from the in-ground anchor, the pole, the backboard to the rim. I would definitely buy this again. A few parts were missing in the original delivery, but they responded very quickly. The cranking handle for adjusting the height is a little awkward to use, but we don't adjust our hoop. Thanks

Overall good product. My installer shattered the backboard during installation, so you really have to watch out for the warning, which is in the instructions, and the small package with the plastic spacers. The bag with the spacers, and its warning, got misplaced during installation and both I and the installer missed the warning in the instructions. I would argue it should be more apparent, particularly since I had to buy a replacement backboard, which nearly doubled the price. Now that it's up, I am satisfied. The adjustment, however, is not as easy as the website would indicate. My seven year old cannot turn the crank, and moving the board from 10' to 6' is a bit of a workout for me also. The unit also shakes (slightly) as the backboard is lowered. Despite that, I would still recommend it.

On-line installation video was very useful. Phone service was excellent. Needed a couple self tap screws and they responded promtly. Overall quite please with product and customer service. All in all, it's a better dollar spend with these systems then with the local vendors - you get way more for your money!!!!

i got kids used to shooting at lower heights, than gradually would raise it. you can lower it and slam it just like the big boys, and you dont have to worry about the system crashing down. watch your forearm when cranking.

we purchase the "gold" system. it is perfect for our family. we have 2 teenagers that play competitive ball and a 5 year old girl who is able to lower and raise hoop herself. good response from backboard. very sturdy hoop that survived a night of 80+ mph windgusts. shipment from texas to washington state was 4 days...awesome. SUGGESTION: Follow the instructions for installation on You tube...the paper directions that come with the hoop are terrible....but if you follow the you tube video....it is soooo easy. I am not a handyman by any means, and it was a snap(once i stopped trying to understand the paper instructions)...i used approx. 14 80# bags of premix and i rented a small electric mixer for $20. The best $20 ive spent in a long time. Great system that i would highly reccomend to anyone. thank you!

product is sturdy (heavy) and very well packaged. installed it with a friend and my wife who placed all of the bolts while we did the lifting. very nice, clean looking system with simplicity a key. really like the thick tempered glass action and the fact that EVERYTHING you need comes in the package (even a pump and needle for the ball).

I researched hoops for quite awhile before deciding on this brand. I am extemely happy with the solid construction and response of the overall hoop and especially the backboard. I thought setting it up might take some time, but my two sons and I had it completed in less than two hours (not counting concrete of course). I am very happy with the result. My other concern was hoop adjustment. I liked the idea of the brands that had "lift handle", but it seemed to be pretty heavy when you had a decent sized and quality backboard. The crank in this system takes a little longer and some "elbow grease", but works very well and doesn't rely on a lot of strength to adjust it. I didn't comment on weather resistance, because we haven't gone through a winter yet, but by all appearances, it should hold up fine. I would definitely choose this system again.

This beautiful basket is a significant step up from the unit I had that blew down in a thunderstorm a few months ago. I wish it cost less, but I like it and enjoy using it. It is relatively easy to adjust--my 11 year old finds it a bit tough to adjust, but he is able to do it. I like that it actually goes down to below five feet.

Bought this hoop as a birthday gift for my three boys: 8, 4, 2.5 yrs. This was one of the only hoops that would adjust low enough for my 4yr old to shoot. He can even hang on the rim like his big brother. We all love playing on it and I know that we will be using this for dozens of years to come. I didn't want to waste money on a flimsy portable hoop, or buy one that my younger boys couldn't use until they got older. It was also important to me to get thick glass backboard and sturdy construction. After months of research, I determined I would have to spend nearly double the money to get anything better made without any compromises. These hoops are a great value. Setup was easy. I did everything myself (well the boys did hand me bolts and nuts), except lifting the backboard in place. You need at least two guys for that part, along with someone to push the bolt in place. Overall, I can heartily recommend Produnk Hoops to anyone who wants a great hoop and a great value.

We're having a blast. The system is really really impressive. There's really no negatives. It's so solid it's like playing in a gym. It doesn't shake at all--a testament to both the system and the installation. In fact, it shakes so little, I forgot until I played on different system last weekend that shaking is actually a problem some basketball systems have. The bottom line is that we go out to play and it's ready for us. I can't possibly imagine a better system. We've raised it and lowered it, no issues. My kids are 5 and 8 and have been playing on it so much that they've noticeably improved in fewer than 3 weeks (if the older one thinks she's MJ, the younger one is now committed to being "Kobe". LOL!) To the pro dunk folks: if you have folks who need installation in the maryland area, I can't recommend Kenny and his Reliant Assembly team high enough. The job required flexibility. Flexibility in the installation given the specific needs and layout of the court and backyard. And flexibility on scheduling--I'm in a high stress position with a very busy schedule and , for example, I asked Kenny if we could get an earlier start than is his usual to solve a schedule conflict for me, and he made it seem to be no problem at all (no hemming and hawing, just Ok, we can do that). They convey professionalism. Kenny and the gentleman working with him, Mike, were very professional when they were here--they explained everything to me and then did exactly what they explained. The installation looks very clean. And they were very nice, personable people (don't underestimate the value of that when someone is installing something that is supposed to be fun for your kids).

Overall very satisfied with the quality of this Basketball Backboard and goal. My neighbors kids were just over and used it for the first time and they commented that our goal was "awesome". All materials are of very high quality and the unit looks great in our driveway. Backboard and rim are quite solid and missed shots bounce high off the rim as they should. Looking forward to cooler weather and more play.

While we were disappointed with the extreme delay due to multiple backorders, the hoop was worth the wait. It is very big, sturdy, and solid. Hopefully, it will give our 4 kids many years of playing. The only thing I would change is to have a more permanent height marker with a less flimsly plastic protector. Otherwise, it's a great system.

Self install, factory installs a lot of frame and padding fasteners and that saved effort on my side (thanks). The ball seems to springs off the glass and the system resists shaking while playing. A disappointment has been when lowering the backboard it has an awkward bounce while turning the adjustment handle. There isn't any issue raising. I haven't pursued a solution, having too much fun playing. I would recommend this system to a friend.

MANUFACTURER RESPONSE:
atl, try loosening the 8 lock-nuts at the pivot points. Many customers unnecessarily tighten these down which can make adjustment more difficult and cause the "bouncing" action you're describing.

I cannot seem to stop raving about our Gold Pro Dunk backboard. Not only does it play like a professonal piece of equipment, it actually gives our property great curb appeal. Solid product. I would recommend to others. The instructions could be made better for those installing themselves. The installation actually doesn't have a lot of steps, but the instructions make it take longer than it should. I am not sure if they tested the instructions with someone that had never worked with a basketball system or not. In the end I figured it all out and everything looks and works great, so not a fatal flaw, but rather a chance to improve an already good product.

I really like this product! I spent a lot time researching adjustable systems. The Gold system is priced well and an excellent value for the money. It's very sturdy and the backboard is great for bank shots - bounces very true with 1/2 inch glass. This is the versatility I was looking for - something that would adjust down for my kids, but also up to the 10' level for some serious shooting practice. I play full court hoops 2X a week and this a great quality gym-like system! I highly recommend the Gold system :)

I played overseas for 3 seasons and I have a 4 and 2 year boys and it plays to all our standards. The kids are playing everyday and I have my friends over for some serious ball. There are 2 options, go big with the ProDunk system or buy a cheap system at Walmart.

Mostly used for fun with the kids. Several boys in the neighborhood have asked permission to use it when we are not around. Adjustment is extremely easy, however it did not adjust down to 5 1/2'...and you need to be careful not to force the adjustment to go lower as you can bend the "stop" pin and extension arm.

Bob, feel free to take out the "stop" pin as this is an optional feature for parents that do not want their children lowering the system below 7 feet.

I found the system to be structurally sound, fairly straightforward to set up (although it took a lot of study on my part) but most of all the kids have a blast with it. While the system uses some very sturdy steel, i was disappointed that the limiter pin which holds the top from going below about 7 feet already has dented the top arm, my 9 year old was able to bend the pin; I would've expected a little more beef for something like that. But overall, very satisfied and the kids will use it for many years to come.

We have had the pole basketball hoop and the one you fill will water or sand but both blew apart in the high winds we experience. We opted for a higher quality, heavy duty basketball goal and are very impressed with this one. Took some effort assembling (heavy) but well worth the amount paid. I bought this for my two young sons (ages 7 and 5). The adjustability is key for my situation and my 7 year old can adjust the height himself. I installed this myself a month and a half ago and it is the hit of the neighborhood. Other than digging the hole and dealing with the bags of concrete, the installation was easy. The only thing I needed help with was lifting the backboard in place while my wife slid the bolt to secure it. The post-concrete installation process took about 1-1.5 hours. I would recommend this product, in fact, I already have to several people.

I installed mine behind a retaining wall. Your staff was very helpful with my questions regarding the installation. I definitely think my setup was very unique due to the location installed. I bought this system because of one reason...the warranty. My friends and i love to dunk and needed a system that is easily adjustable and can withstand the ruff play of dunking. The warranty allows hard play without the worry of the system breaking. With this hoop it feels like i am playing in the gym...right outside my house!

Very sturdy, high quality materials means that the system doesn't detract from my home's appearance. Easy installation - the only part I needed helpers for was to hoist the backboard onto the supports - otherwise I did the rest by myself. Shipped fast and right to the location it was to be installed. Adjustment is simple and safe enough for my 9 year old daughter to handle. By far one of the nicest hoop systems I have seen. No buyers remorse here!

It's just like playing on a regulation basketball goal in an gymnasium, except its conveniently located in "our own backyard." Today we had 6 boys and 2 dads dunking on our new Produnk Hoop. We have nothing but complements on the system. We had players out on the court for about 5 hours straight, playing 2v2, 3v3, knockout and slam dunk contests. This is a great product, and it finally gets the kids back outside and off the video game consoles.

I am extremely pleased with my Gold basketball system. The quality of the product is amazing. Each part is obviously heavy duty and built to last. The rim alone is very sturdy and surprisingly heavy. The entire buying process emphasized customer service including informative web site, pre-order questions, prompt shipment and professional service from the delivery team. I was able to install with help of a relative, my wife and my two daughters. It was some work to get the hole dug in the clay soil, but after that the install was quite easy. The concrete mixing & installation of the anchor system was finished in 2 hours. One week later the actual set up of pole, backboard & rim was completed in 1 hour. Now that the new Gold system is up, I'm the envy of the neighborhood. My next door neighbor said it is such high quality, she is expecting to see NBA players show up to play in the driveway. We had our system professionally installed. Assembly only took the installers 45 minutes from start to finish. They said it was easy to install because there were only 15 fasteners in total and the padding was pre-attached saving them about 30 minutes. This system is well designed and uses high-quality materials. I would definitely recommend this product.
