At LaSalle Recreation District No 10, an outdoor multi-purpose basketball/volleyball court was constructed (cement, regulation court) and the Pro Dunk goals were installed. The community kids (all ages) are really enjoying this new addition to our facility. They can dunk the ball and never feel like it's going to come down. The goals are very sturdy. The volleyball equipment purchased has also been used and enjoyed. I would recommend your products to anyone.

Our previous court was on our driveway that had a significant slope and a portable goal. My son started playing competitive basketball and we realized that he needed a basketball court to help him improve to play at that level. We put a 25X36 court in our backyard and started looking for a goal online. After searching on line we selected the Pro Dunk Platinum. I was sold on the fact that the goal was covered for dunking and hanging on the rim. The goal has to be strong to have that kind of guarantee. I looked at all of the videos on the Pro Dunk Website and knew I had found the goal. The installation video was extremely helpful. We love the goal! The goal has made a huge difference in my sons game. The regulation backboard and the overall feel of the rim and glass is the best on the market.

All the kids come here now to play on this rock solid basketball goal. I paid someone (about $300) to completely set it up, including the concrete dig/pour, which seemed like a good choice. It would take at least 3 men to lift the backboard.

Overall very good product. Installed with wife's help and a couple of friends. Used a homemade 2x4 frame to lift backboard into position(see YouTube video for example). Digging the hole was the most time consuming of project. Goal bolts were defective, but replaced by Pro Dunk Hoops.

The product is fantastic, we love it. We did not like the way it was delivered. Our house is set well off the street, but we have a semi-circular driveway (flat) that many trucks have used for deliveries. The delivery driver/company said they only deliver to the address and don't place it. The large, heavy box and long pallet were placed on the side of the road near my house. It was up to me to drag it though my yard in the rain in order to ensure it did not get damaged by the weather and traffic. The pallet had to be broken down and all boxed individually moved. The pole was "walked" through the yard and the backboard carried by me and my wife to a more secure location.

My twin 16 year old sons are serious basketball players. They hope to play college ball so my husband and I wanted to provide them with the best equipment possible. My husband researched extensively and found the Pro Dunk to be superior to all the other products on the market. We just purchased our second goal to complete the back yard "full court" and our sons could not be happier. They are practicing with the same backboard that is found at their school so the shots they practice at home are the same they use in a real game. All 4 of our children use our new Pro Dunk Platinum system to develop their games as well as host the neighborhood pickup games. The system is extremely sturdy, easy to adjust and looks great. Although the instructions are clear and easy to understand, I would highly recommend professional installation.

I researched alot of hoops before deciding on the pro dunk system. I chose the pro-dunk system based on price and quality and I can tell you that you will not go wrong with this system. Installation was a snap particulary with the online video - just make sure you have help to attach the backboard. It's nice when a product is everything they say it is. Structurally this thing is a beast and will withstand everything my teenagers can throw at it. The raise and lower mechanism is super easy to use. I ended up buying the hooplight max so the kids can play 24-7. If you are in the market and comparing products stop here this is the one to get. I live in Colorado and we have already had a couple snowfalls and freezes and the hoop has weathered the storm fine. Everything they say on their website is true. This is as sturdy a system as you will find. I am completely 100% satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a in ground hoop.

Was very easy to assemble and seems to be very sturdy. We have not had any problems with the hoop or construction whatsoever. At first all the parts seemed to be a bit overwhelming but after reading the instructions, we found that it went together really easy. We are out there almost every day now.

The product is fantastic for any level player and the set-up was a breeze. You really only need one extra set of hands with the main pole installation and a couple extra sets of hands when installing the backboard. Everything else is very manageable by yourself. Directions are clear and easy to understand. The hardest part (for me) was digging the 4 ft deep hole in clay... I will definitely not leave this system if/when we ever move...

Really high class setup, neighborhood is impressed and looks great. Kids are having a lot of fun playing, they can easily adjust the height; Instructions could be a bit more detailed, but contacted Pro Dunk directly via online chat, and got answers needed. With such a large hole to dig, and fill with concrete, it worked out way better to have concrete delivered instead of mixing 42 bags!

The installation was hard and some parts didn't want to play nice, especially the springs to raise/lower the hoop. After everything was installed and leveled, I noticed the stand was leaning slightly forward even tho everything else was leveled. Other than that it's a very good hoop.

This is a Pro size and style glass backboard and hoop that is heavy duty. My nine year old loves the easy adjustability (he can do it himself), and my 13 year old loves the overhang so he doesn't run into the pole - like our old system. The system encourages my children to play a sport they love more - and at home!

Definitely not inexpensive but paying extra you get the quality and durability vs. all the cheaper hoops one sees in sad shape in driveways in one's neighborhood. Installing was very tough but doable. I needed my 65 yr old dad to help. We are both over 6', 200 lbs and still wasn't easy. Probably should have had a third guy. Biggest complaint is there isn't a marker for different heights so its guesswork.

Great hoop. Exceeded my expectations. Needed several people to lift the heavy backboard into place on set-up. Otherwise set-up was easy. Wish I could adjust the height it quicker, but I suppose you can't expect it to be much quicker and still be sturdy. Highly recommend.

I LOVE TO LET OFF STEAM WITH THE KIDS AFTER A GREAT DAY AT WORK. I have a six and a three year old. I am blown away that they can both raise and lower the hoop by themselves. I actually had a hard time raising and lowering some of the other brands that I looked into. Another HUGE plus is that the hoop lowers to 5 ft. The little guy can still get some playing time in and I get to save my back and shoulders BY NOT lifting him up 80 times a night. A lot of the other brands would only lower to 7 feet. I love the strength and how solid everything feels. I feel totally confident playing above the rim with this system(yes when it's lowered some) Come on i'm WHITE and getting old!!! Another favorite of mine is the loud "CLANK" sound that the rim makes when SOMEONE ELSE throws up a BRICK. the only thing that I didn't think was truly perfect with this system was the little plastic marker that lets you know how high the hoop is. My buddy who referred me to produnk lost his on a really windy day in Nebraska which can be pretty common. Mine seems to still be fine!!! Truthfully that is the only thing that wasn't completely great about the whole system. I also really thought the videos online of the installation process really helped a ton if you are doing it yourself.

Product is awesome for myself as well as our young kids. We use it for family fun and playing pick up games with friends and family. We love the quality and durability and are planning a way to keep the hoop lit at nights now that summer is nearing its end and its getting dark sooner. We love playing, just wish we could go from 10' to 5' a little quicker, but realize the crank and hydraulics are a great system!

Overall a great product. Great set up tools on the website. The set was easier than I thought it would be. I was able to do it with a pickup truck bed and one helper. The rim is super stiff and I haven't been able to figure out how to adjust it (other than thousands of shots). It would be cool if you had some sort of lighting that extended on a boom above the backboard that lights up the lane and hoop for night ball.

Installation was easy. Digging the 4ft hole was the toughest part. I let the concrete sit for a week and had the hoop up in less than 2 hours. The online installation video was helpful. As for the quality, it's top of the line. I get questions and comments about it all the time.

Our summer camp program is for kids ages 6-17. The ability to adjust the height was a huge plus for us as it allowed campers of all ages to enjoy a productive game. Kids being kids love to dunk and hang on the rim. These hoops withstood everything they endured all summer long

First and foremost: This is a great product. I searched and searched for goals, and decided that although pricey, the ProDunk Platinum Hoops system was for me. I wanted a high-quality, long-lasting, sturdy, and easy to assemble goal system, and this product is it! ---My friends and I (adult males 25-35) use it once or twice weekly for our "old guys" pick-up games and shooting contests. When we are not using it, my young nephews are lowering it to about 8ft and holding amateur dunk contests. And when they are not using it, my 5yr old son and his peers lower the goal to about 7-7.5ft, and shoot around themselves. So the goal gets constant usage, ranging from adult men, to teenage boys, down to elementary school age kids. And all love it. ---There are several great things about the product: 1) It has withstood bricks, dunk attempts, and hurricanes (Irene, I'm looking at you!) alike. 2) The backboard DOES have a great, regulation gym or goal like response. And in addition, my friends comment all the time that I was right by not being "cheap" and just getting a portable goal or hoop on a pole. Because with this product, I don't have a goal, I have a Court. 3) It WAS easy to assemble by 2 adults (except for one portion that I'll mention shortly) 4) It's a great looking product. And With it's thick 6" pole, and solid feeling metal, I'm always at ease that it will not suddenly fall down or that I'll come home one day and the glass will be shattered etc., 5) Although minor, the padding (and ball, pump, etc.,) that came included, fit this goal well, and make me feel a lot more safe when my kids or family's playing outside around it. ---There are only a couple cons to this product. And, none of them would keep me from recommending this product to others. I only mention them as cautionary tales for future buyers. ---First, after ordering, the system did arrive in my state within the estimated time, AND, it arrived at my doorstep within the estimated time (maybe a day later actually). HOWEVER, I did have to call and set a time for it to be delivered to my doorstep, after it had arrived in my state and been sitting at the shipping depot for a day or two. NOTE: After I called and set a delivery time, it was in-fact delivered at that time, and in great condition. ALSO, note that I was able to track my package. Still, I wonder how long it may (or may not) have sat at the local shipping depot if I had not called them to ask when it would be delivered. ---Second, while the total package of instructions (meaning both the paper AND the video) were overall descriptive and easy enough to follow. The backboard, at least the 72" one we ordered, is HEAVY. I have no idea of it's weight, but our total freight may have been ~650lbs. And I'd suspect the backboard is an awkward to carry/lift 300 of those lbs. Carrying it from the truck doorstop delivery (front of our house) to the backyard, was intense, and a 3 man job. 4 people would have made it safer, but I'll admit 3 was doable--if not strenuous. ---Finally, despite how trivial the video makes backboard attachment seem, it is DEFINITELY not as easy as it may appear. Thus, I would strongly recommend that 3-4 people are prepared to lift the backboard alone, and another person be ready to insert the bolt(s) that secure the backboard to the extension arms. Otherwise, you really do risk over-exerting yourself and others who may not do heavy lifting on a daily basis (as neither myself or my engineer neighbors and friends no longer do).

Very impressed with the engineering of this goal, they definitely thought through all aspects of this product. Easy setup with clear instructions. Customer support is very strong. My wife and I (age 57) was able to install all but the backboard, which we got help from our neighbor to install.

We bought the platimum system for our family and we are very happy with the quality and ease of use. Both my children, ages 6 and 4, can easily adjust the backboard and goal. I played college basketball and coach a college team and several guys have been over and tested the system out. Everyone has gave rave reviews. Only thing I have noticed is one of the bolts has a little rust and we bought the weather proofing package but other than that it is perfect.

I have 2 boys ages 12 and 14 who play a lot of basketball competitively. This goal is solid, well built and easily withstands the constant use. Having installed the system 3 months ago, and living in the Northeast, time will tell if the goal will continue to perform. So far its working out great! I would highly recommend this product.

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing our backyard basketball system and I kept coming back to the Pro-Dunk Platinum. Compared with other systems that were $100-$300 more, The Pro-Dunk Platinum offered thicker gauge steel than the competition, the padding was included (huge bonus), the backboard glass was thicker AND I was able to get the 72" backboard. It seemed too good to be true but I pulled the trigger and ordered from Pro-Dunk. Pro-Dunk Hoops impressed me before I even had a chance to set up the system. The entire package arrived WAY faster than I thought it would. In fact, my play area wasn't even prepared yet when the hoop arrived. The hoop system sat in my garage for a couple weeks until our wet Pacific NW spring could dry up long enough to allow my concrete contractor to pour the slab. I had a 35'x45' slab poured in an area of my backyard. My contractor (5 Star Concrete - awesome outfit!!) had done several play courts and knew exactly what to do. They pre-dug the holes for me to pre-set the anchor bolts for the hoop pole and my light pole. They dug the holes about 4' deep and filled with concrete. I'm glad they did it because I'm sure I would have messed it up. Two days later my contractor came back to check on the concrete and asked me if I had my basketball hoop. He told me to get the instructions because he wanted to get us up and running. Couldn't believe he was going to help me do that. Within an hour the two of us had everything set up except the backboard. I grabbed two neighbors and the four of us easily mounted the backboard to the frame. It really does take four adults to set the backboard - it's heavy! My contractor had a basketball system of his own and he has installed others. He kept saying how impressed he was with the Pro-Dunk system and how much better it was than anything he'd seen. That made me even more confident that I made the right purchase. My 10 year old son couldn't wait to use the court and we shoot hoops all the time. For a court my size, the 72" backboard is perfect - I wouldn't go any smaller. The rim is nice and tight and the backboard has perfect response. It's just like playing in the gym. The adjustable crank makes it super easy for the kids to lower/raise the system and you know exactly how high the rim is set with the convenient height indicator. With the money I saved, I went ahead and ordered the rust armor protection. The base will get wet from the sprinkler and with our inland northwest winters, there will be snow around the base for much of the winter. I couldn't be happier with the Pro-Dunk system.

We put the Pro-Dunk up in our drive to help me teach my 4 year old the game of basketball. I played college basketball in the 1970s & I think this goal is better than the ones we used then. The height adjustment is so easy my 4 year old son can do it by himself.

My family truly loves to use it. The boys and their friends get a great deal of use of it. Whenever we have young children at the house the system is easy to lower it for them. The kids are able to lower it themselves. The system feels very stable. We are all very pleased that we purchased this system.

Outstanding system & value! Have two teenage sons that play. Has been great for practice and pick up games. Also have gotten wife & daughter to play which is great family time. Built 30 x 45 pad for system. Installation was easy, 3 to 4 people for backboard as it is heavy. Added light for night play and stencil kit, which is the only thing that tried my patience. Ryan & Keith were great to work with! Great exercise beats running on a treadmill! Look for many years of enjoyment!

The product is used for fun, recreational use and also for our sons to practice their basketball skills. The product is very stable and sturdy. We had some severe storms earlier this summer season and it appeared that the product did not move, sway or even quiver when the strongest winds were hitting it. The only thing we wish would be different is if there would be a better way of determining the height instead of the plastic "ruler" that came with the product. We did our own installation and found it to be quite easy. The directions were easy to follow. Definitely need at least 3 people to install the backboard due to its weight.

I use product to teach my boys the fundamentals of shooting at different angles. Things I love about it are that the kids can adjust themselves and I don't have to worry about them dunking on it when it is set at the lower level.

Yes it does take a little extra effort and concrete but why not. Really not that hard to set up. Ours has been installed and used heavily for about a year and have no complaints. Its big and heavy but that is what you need. Want junk go to your local sporting goods store. Want the good stuff call Pro Dunk Hoops. The old saying applies "You get what you pay for." Would recommend to anyone.

Very Sturdy, so easy to use my 8 year old can adjust it alone. My Young family Loves it and we are hoping to get meny years of fun. We Just got it this year so I cant comment on weather reisistance but, it comes with very nice padding/ accesories and it looks top notch. We had it installed by our builder. I can say it is very heavy, solid and requires quite a bit of concrete to stabalize. Very glad it stable when the kids are slam dunking. It spends most of the time in the lowest position and they love slam dunkingl. I can see it holding up very well as they get bigger. The setup looks great and will hold up well. When I called to order staff was very informative and helpful!

We run half court games with adults at 9feet because we can't dunk on 10 feet anymore - Play for about 2 hours twice a week. Rest of the time my 4 kids and neighborhood kids are on the court playing ball probably another 3-4 times a week. My ONLY complaint is the hardware that holds the padding to the backboard or the backboard frame to the glass is not rust proof. Where the water drips off after a rain is an orange spot on my court underneath backboard. I did pay extra for the stainless steel hardware but that was for the rest of the goal assembly. Board was pre-assembled. Overall I am very pleased and would have no hesitation recommending this product - 72" Platinum

We researched a lot before choosing Pro Dunk. Everything about it is top notch and it looks great as a replacement for our old rusted out in-ground hoop. The mechanism to raise and lower the hoop is effortless and the quality of parts seems solid. My husband and 4 year old had a pick up game on Father's Day and it was a thing of beauty to watch! I have four boys, and it was time to get a permanent basketball hoop. Took a chance on this one and everything was perfect from order to delivery to playing with the kids. I had my contractor install it with the concrete pad pour so I can't comment on the install but they didn't complain any. Very well built and sturdy, I don't see why this would ever need replaced.

The use of metric measurments, on the bolts is confusing. Digging the hole is probably the hardest part of installation.

I purchased the Pro Dunk Platinum for myself and my kids. I have been very impressed with the quality. I played competitive basketball at the college level and was always disappointed when playing outside in the summer with the quality of the goals. The Pro Dunk Platinum comes as close to the indoor feel that I have found. My six year old son has no problem adjusting the height by himself and has used it almost everyday since we set it up. This is a great basketball system. I was looking for something my kids could practice on that would be comparable to the gym goals they play competitively on. The rim and backboard response is accurate with the gymnasium goals. So the quality is as good as described. Now part of the installation is much more time consuming than the instructions imply. Not the goal assembly, but digging the footing and the concrete pour. The 1.5 hour estimate is a joke. Sorry Pro Dunk, but there's no way. I rented an auger for most of the dig and an electric barrel mixer for the pour. The dig took a full day considering the rental time, and the concrete pour/AB setting took another 3+ hours. I used (31) eighty pound bags of concrete mix, so I did end up with a bigger footing than recommended. Don't let the footing discourage you from buying this product. It is an awesome system!

We have not finished installing the goal because we had to wait for better weather to pour our new cement pad. We have 6 kids with preschool up to high school age the rim height adjustment is very important. We finished putting the backboard on last night and were excited even our 3 year old will be able to make baskets when we have it lowered. We have not tightened things down yet so hopefully when we do it will be solid. The only thing I am worried about is that the backboard has 4 predrilled holes for the rim. We have one hole that is larger than the other and is scuffed up. It almost looks like it had a mistake that they tried to "fix". I will be mounting the rim and will work with the company if it turns out to be an issue. It was very heavy and we had issues when it was delivered. Mainly that the delivery driver got stuck in the ditch trying to make a wide turn and back down our driveway. Once he got down the drive way he started unloading it in the middle of the drive way and could not get his dolly/crate mover out of his truck. After some minor exchange we all pushed it up to the garage and then carried the back board up by hand. Many reviews talk about mounting the backboard to be very hard. We had two adult men, one adult female and two 12/13 yr. old kids and we didn't have any trouble at all getting it connected, it was not near the work we thought it was going to be. Our last project is getting it square and level and mounting the rim. I hope to tackle that this weekend. Then turn the kids loose - I will say that I have not seen a nicer looking basketball goal outside of a gym. This is really sharp looking and should provide the perfect home practice for my future college basketball players.

The hardest part of the whole process was digging down 4 feet thru Oklahoma clay. The frame materials are great with good welds. Solid all the way around. This product should last. Only draw back was the padding material. It was of lesser quality than the rest of the product. It was cracked exposing the padding underneath.

This basketball hoop/pole was installed on a multi-million dollar home estate. A massive trade study was conducted comparing all hoops/poles available via the internet and in sporting goods stores. The primary concern was functionality and weather durability due to winter snow conditions. The 2nd very close concern was architecture. I am happy to say that this pro dunk hoop excelled in all our studies at the top of each group. The construction of this system is unique in its use of a upward sloped parallel support structure that is incredible rigid. The quality of construction is like none other. It is built like a crane, heavy and sturdy. It weighs more than the competition which is the first clue at the sturdy engineering that went into this pole/hoop design. This home project has cut no corners and the addition of this hoop system was no exception. The up/down adjustment is easy and lockable. The galvanized option is incredible. Assembly was simple (about 1.5 hours) however, we used a tractor to lift the backboard onto the pole. Get a few strong guys if you don't have equipment to lift it. Well worth buying your friends some pizza, as it is the thick and heavy metal construction that separates this hoop system from everyone else. Also as a side note, the glass is as thick as the pro boards, and it is really really heavy! When viewed from the street it has simple geometric lines and is aesthetically pleasing and complements rather than distracts from the overall project. When viewed close up it is dominating and the quality of construction "jumps" out at you. You can dunk, and if it shakes at all it is over in a fraction of a second. It is so solid that I have little doubt that it will last a lifetime. A big thank you to the guys at Produnkhoops, as they not only make an awesome product, they answer their phone "live" and know their product like a company should. No foreign call center from these guys! In summary, if you are considering a basketball hoop & pole system, don't try to save money and get something else. You get what you pay for and in the case of the pro dunk hoop the $$$ are well worth it. There is not a single system out there that even comes close to the pro dunk hoop. Take the time to do your research and you will come to the same conclusion we did. I can't stress enough NOT to try to save a few bucks and get something else as you WILL be disappointed.

What a great quality product! We are very satisfied with it. Our boys ages 12 and 10 love to play basketball and enjoy this quality basketball system, which was installed in our backyard court. We suggest using 4 people for installation of the backboard since it's so big and heavy. We also ordered the rustproofing (since we live near the ocean) and a light, which extends our playing time. The customer service was great!

Great basketball goal. Had no problems putting it together and setting it up. You will need at least three men to set the backboard on the pole and secure it (very heavy!!) or you can do what we did and use a frontend loader. By far, the hardest part was digging the 2' x 2' x 4' deep hole for the base. After the base was installed and the concrete had set, the rest of the installation only took about an hour. The goal is sturdy and well built and my kids love hanging on the rim!

My new hoop and back-board have made our driveway the go-to place for neighborhood kids to play B-BAll. My kids have increased their basketball practise time ten fold since its installation. It's solid construction forces me and my kids to shoot more accurately. Its either a near perefct shot or the ball won't drop

We use for family fun. My 10 year old daughter says it is really easy for her to lower the backboard to a height she desires. Neighbor kids flocked to our house when it went up. Unit is very solid...all aspects appear to be really strong...and it looks good as well. Delivery was easy. We had a local construction co./handy-man set it up, well worth the dollars spent there. We have a large area for it and we are glad we went with the larger backboard...it is really nice. Time will tell as to how it stands up to weather. It's done well in wind, rain, and sun...waiting for the snow...we'll see in 10 years how it holds up. We added the rust guard. That's the only reason we hold back on a 5 star rating...want to see how it holds up over time. So far, a very solid product and we highly recommend it.

I used to own a 60" Mammoth hoop at a previous home. There is no comparison. The quality is excellent. The kids love being able to lower down to 5'6" where they can dunk and hang on it. If I had to assemble it again I would get 4 guys on the 72" backboard and one placing the pin. We did it with 2 on the backboard and my wife on a ladder with the pin.

We are using this awesome hoop in our church parking lot. Once we get the court lined we'll be having regular pickup games. We love the 4-6 foot reach from the support to the backboard which gives you a genuine feel for a regulation court. Of course, you can dunk all day long! With the age of our kids, 8' is a great rim height. Ours is used for family fun and keeping active, both of which are very enjoyable due to the high quality of the hoop. The only reason for a hard to setup note was that a regulation size 1/2" glass backboard is HEAVY, obviously. Three men held it while I attached the bolts - but still not a cakewalk. Designed well, but still heavy. Don't underestimate the manpower needed. Overall, great product (very stable, easily adjustable and well manufactured) and I appreciate the details, specifically the stainless hardware option.

In looking for a residential adjustable basketball goal, it quickly became apparent to me that I had to steer away from the low-end, entry level goals since their flimsy construction and instability would have significantly reduced the fun of playing. After carefully reviewing all of the specifications of the various high quality goals available, ProDunk came out at the head of the pack offering superior, sturdy construction (e.g. full 1/2" thick glass) at a great price. For the size of my play area, the pricing also made it an easy choice to move up to the full 72" regulation size goal. With 3 young children an adjustable system was a must. I did a lot of on-line shopping, and this was by far the best price and the highest quality system available. I've recommended it to 3 friends. I would absolutely buy it again from Pro Dunk Hoops. Great company, very responsive when i called with a few questions. Only way to improve the experience was if the installation instructions were updated with more pictures (that always helps), and some of the bolts were labeled better (since they are close in length, it makes it difficult to identify the correct one). Overall - a great company and AWESOME, HIGH QUALITY PRODUCT.

When this hoop arrived at my house, the backboard was bigger than my bed! Very heavy duty and stable system. The rim allows no "cheap shots" like other low quality hoops. We use these goals to reach out in our Native American Communities, and the youth can be really hard on basketball goals, where often you see broken goals or backboards. We use our Pro Duck system at home for practice. I think the most useful thing about the system is the height adjustment which allows for the system to be lowered to height suitable for small kids to play at a Pro like level. I think the most undesirable thing about the system is that it’s too nice a system to not have an area designated only for basketball.

Starting with customer service when buying it (thanks Ryan!),through delivery (on time, as scheduled), set up (used your recommended installer but watched it being done, very straightforward) and, most of all, quality of materials. This thing is built like a tank, looks great and is easy for my 9 year old to raise and lower. I looked at systems for twice the price and I cannot think of a thing they have over this system.

We bought the system for a Bible Camp where durability and adjustability are a high priority. Now both young and old can enjoy the system to the fullest. We also recived a court stencil for some shipping damages (scratches). Stencil product is worthless. Tape measure, chalk line, and string is the better route to go.

I have been playing organized basketball for over 30 years, the Pro Dunk Platinum Basketball System plays just like a high school and college basketball gym backboard. The only thing I need to do is adjust for the wind, if needed (and the slight slant in my driveway). The feel, the way the ball bounces on the backboard and rim, the angles and the look are just like playing in the gym. I would recommend this system to anyone. Installation was a breeze,however, digging the hole and pouring the cement for the post and the weight of the backboard when attaching to the post were the hardest parts of installation. I would definitely suggest 4 well able men for lifting the backboard in place (more if you want) and a person to install the bolts.

The hoop is awesome and looks much better in person than the pics on the website. My wife was less than excited about putting such a mammoth goal in our front yard. However, she's fine with it now. It has a very elegant construction that helps mute its sheer bulk. I've gotten 5 drive-by complements, two from women asking me where I got it. I think that by showing a few installed pictures, people will get a lot more perspective about how the goal would look in a residential setting. Play is amazing. VERY solid feel. I love dunking and hanging ... and so do my kids. Bottom line is that I'd enthusiastically recommend this hoop to anyone and I'd definitely buy it again. If you ever need a reference in Colorado, give me call.

Only comment I would make is that the sticker and the plastic overlay that indicates the height of the goal is a bit cheap looking.

The height indicator is made of a high-quality, weather resistant, high-impact plastic to endure harsh weather conditions without becoming brittle. Also, because it is plastic and not metal, the risk of corrosion at the pivot point is eliminated. Lastly, the plastic height indicator has the added benefit of being clear which allows you to see the rim height markings beneath the indicator.

this basketball system is fantastic, it perform way better than my old system. i weight in at 190 lbs, i dunk and hang on the rim with confidence that it would not break. the rim does not mount onto the glass backboard, it mount directly on to the steel frame. all the pole and extension arm are made of heavy steel and will last for years of play. i would highly recommend this system to anyone is looking for a basketball system. this system cost less then the big box store, and its 10 time better in quality and way more sturdier. fantastic system over all. for your diy installer out there, you are going to need 4 of your buddy and a case of beer to install it.
