Assembly of the complete system can be done from a standing position without ladders or special tools using only 8 main bolts. Accurate Installation Features

The Pro Dunk® system incorporates several assembly focused features that promote an easy and accurate installation. An innovative pier system is used to allow precise leveling and semi-portability. Also, the height meter is set after installation relative to the playing surface ensuring accurate height adjustment. In contrast, traditional direct burial basketball goals cannot be moved or adjusted after the main pole has been set.

Portability of your Pro Dunk® system to a new house is simple. The basketball goal can be broken into 3 main parts and transported in a standard pick-up truck. Available stainless steel fasteners in the Rust Armor package eliminate the threat of seizing bolts from corrosion when disassembling and reassembling the hoop.

Tempered glass performs better and is more durable over time than acrylic. It is the preferred material for backboards in most cases unless you are very price conscious or are concerned about vandalism.

Performance
The rebound response of tempered glass is 31% greater than acrylic because it is a much heavier and harder material. All professional arenas use tempered glass backboards.

Durability
Tempered glass resists scratching and will remain crystal clear for the life of the basketball system just like your car windshield. Acrylic is a softer material that will accumulate scratchs from grit on the ball and dirt in the air over time giving the backboard a cloudy dull look. Although acrylic will cloud, it will never shatter making it better for hostile environments where performance is not paramount.

Price
Acrylic is more economical than tempered glass in most cases although prices continue to narrow with the rising cost of plastics around the world.
