Hoops 72" Tempered Glass Backboard
Our tempered glass backboards are the same great quality as any gym backboard. Tempered glass is a very heavy material that gives basketball systems a very solid feel. Tempered glass does not have any drum head effect like other materials such as acrylic. The backboard is very responsive to the ball. We use a very heavy aluminum frame that adds to the rigidity of the board. Tempered glass is the most scratch resistant backboard available. They will look the same 20 years from installation time.

Hoops 72" Acrylic Backboard
Our acrylic backboards are all 1/2 inch thick. This gives the material the best rebounding characteristics of any acrylic board available. All of the white markings are permanently inked to the rear of the board for long life. We use our same heavy aluminum frame on every acrylic board that we use on gym boards. This gives the acrylic board the most rigid feel possible on an acrylic backboard. We use only 100 percent cell cast acrylic. This assures no yellowing of the board over time.
