This is the installer to hire!
Fred, T. from ANN ARBOR, MI gave Playground Professionals 5 out of 5 stars on 5/25/2018
Tim & his crew were great. Tim answered on my first call (other installers never returned messages) on a Thursday. He and his crew came that Sunday evening, dug the hole, poured concrete and set the support bracket. Despite being busy with a big playground job, they were back the next Thursday and completed the installation. My wife asked if I had hired ZZ Top for the installation (a couple of large men with beards), but they were friendly and professional. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Andrew was on time and very professional. He took his time and made sure everything was just right. The system was just too heavy for me to install and I wanted someone with experience to do it. Andrew is the man! Very nice and thorough in his work. He really cares about what he does. I'm confident that the system is set up right and will last a lifetime.
Amazing. Would highly recommend this installer.

I would highly recommend Some Assembly Required. They were enthusiastic and passionate about basketball hoops, and the customer service was amazing. They removed our old hoop and set the foundation for our old one in a timely manner, and had the hoop up within the week. They were personable and hardworking, and did a perfect job in installing our Pro Dunk Platinum hoop. They also hauled off our old hoop and cleaned up after the installation. Call Some Assembly Required first if you are looking for a professional to install your hoop.
You can count on "Some Assembly Required"

Review of “Some Assembly Required” There’s always a gamble when you hire a contractor to do work for you. However, in the case of contractor Andrew Mersino, owner of “Some Assembly Required,” I came up a winner. Andrew was professional, timely, cost competitive, extremely proficient in assembly, and very talented in setting up the cement. Andrew is honest, and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending “Some Assembly Required” for your next project.

Once contacted, there were regular and prompt communications. We had weather challenges - a lot of rain. But I think it was fair to say he rescheduled us as quickly as he could and was in regular contact with us throughout the process. His work was impeccable. Very friendly and professional. The family loves the work. I would highly recommend - just be patient when there are circumstances beyond his control that would impact the quality of the job if rushed (such as rain). He communicated the two phases clearly and the time between the two phases. Nice work.

The owner replied immediately to my text and was out to do the first phase after we got delivery. He came and finished the second phase after the dry time and did an impeccable job on the entire installation!!!!!!!! Super nice, respectful, awesome with my little kids and a perfect job! Hands down awesome installer even after our nasty rainy wet spring, I thought the job was going to be pushed because of the rain but he still came thru. Awesome contractor, our net will NEVER move and he placed it perfectly!

Maybe Andrew was too busy for my business. I contacted Andrew when I placed my order with ProHoops. He started to text him when it gets delivered (Wednesday) he has a goal of "48 hours from delivery to play." Which I'm I don't understand because it calls for 72 hours of concrete drying time. He stated that he would be out Friday but due to weather would have to postpone until next week. I contacted him that Monday and he text back Thursday or Friday....I again text him on Thursday and he said he couldn't make it by on Thursday. I then contacted Eric from Penchura #2 on the list at 5pm and it was a little more $ but 9am the next morning the hole for my pole was being dug. BTW it's Tuesday today 13 days later and Andrew still hasn't called me back! Basically broken promises and lack of communication. Sorry Andrew I can't recommend you.
