Congratulations to the San Antonio Spurs in their sweep over the Cleveland Cavaliers for the world championship of basketball.

The NCAA committee has approved the expansion of the men’s college 3-point line to 20-9 from 19-9 (one foot further from the center of the hoop).  We have put together some information on this at our court dimension page including links to commentary about how it will effect the game.  Women’s and high school 3-point lines will remain the same.  Courts will now have two 3-point lines in contrasting color for women’s and men’s play.  Both are true arcs unlike the NBA 3-point line.
