Reorganizing Pro Dunk Basketball System Details

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008

Over the past year and a half we have been constantly trying to improve the Pro Dunk Hoops website by providing as much information as possible to you about the Pro Dunk basketball systems.  In doing so, we found ourselves with a huge amount of detail on each system.  In an attempt to make the information more manageable for our users we have reorganized these pages into 6 convenient sections under the “Details” section on each product page.

Durability
In this section, we talk about the outstanding heavy-duty materials and quality construction used to make Pro Dunk basketball systems.  We hope you come away from this section agreeing with us that the Pro Dunk basketball goal is one of the most durable long-lasting systems available.  Sub headers include lifetime warranty, backboard rigidity, and stainless steel fasteners.

Performance
Every Pro Dunk basketball system is made to exceed the most demanding basketball enthusiast’s expectations.  This section will talk about the responsive backboard, extension arm placement and the thick main poles on the Pro Dunk basketball system.

Design
While every high performance Pro Dunk basketball hoop is rugged we also make it beautiful.  This section talks about the elegant design, lack of tacky logos, and the way it blends into residential settings with its clear backboard and black finish.

Flexibility
You will read about how easily the Pro Dunk system can be adjusted and how semi-portability lets you take the basketball goal to a new house when you move.

Installation
Pro Dunk basketball systems are renowned for their easy assembly.  This section will talk about specific features that allow for easy, accurate installation and mention resources to help with installation.

Safety
Young and demanding players use Pro Dunk basketball systems every day.  Safety is a high priority on our list.  This section will talk about the included padding set, safe overhang distance and how Pro Dunk basketball goals keep children within the safety of your own home.

Feedback on a Basketball System Newsletter?

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008

With the addition of our new basketball blog and the basketball knowledge we have accumulated over the years we are considering sending out a monthly newsletter to our customers and others that are interested. The newsletter format would include a short snippet from a highlighted blog post, any important company news and current sales that are running. We’d like your feedback on this idea. Would you take time to read it? What format suggestions do you have? Any general comments are also appreciated. Please leave a comment or send an email to news@produnkhoops.com.

Men’s College 3-Point Line Moves

Friday, June 15th, 2007

The NCAA committee has approved the expansion of the men’s college 3-point line to 20-9 from 19-9 (one foot further from the center of the hoop).  We have put together some information on this at our court dimension page including links to commentary about how it will effect the game.  Women’s and high school 3-point lines will remain the same.  Courts will now have two 3-point lines in contrasting color for women’s and men’s play.  Both are true arcs unlike the NBA 3-point line.
