The weather finally broke here in NY and I finally installed the pro dunk silver. I regret not purchasing this hoop system years ago, when my 15 year old was younger and just learning how to play. All three of my boys love the hoop and im sure it will help them improve in their competetive basketball leagues.

Solid product for the price when compared to goalrilla etc.. One of the welded joints did fail but part was replaced quickly

Have had this hoop installed for a few months now and our family loves it. My 6 year old has no difficulty adjusting the height of the hoop. We have played pickup games, pig, around the world... Rim seems pretty stable. doesn't seem to shake (we paid the local driveway company to put it in). My idiotic brother in law hung on it as well even though we have a no dunking rule and it held his 200lb weight without a problem. The only problem we have had is that the neighborhood kids invite themselves over to play uninvited, but when you have such a great hoop as this is its no wonder.

Great product and system. Kids love it, and the adjustability is awesome. Smaller kids love the 5 foot height. My only regret is that I did not get the 60 inch board.

We love the Pro Dunk Silver. My two boys are 5 and 7 and they are able to lower and raise the system in seconds so they can dunk or play a game. I've dusted off the old kicks and pulled out some old school moves to show the young ones that Daddy still has some game, even though I can't jump very high anymore.

This goal is great! The only minor con is that it bounces after being dunked, but it does stabilize fairly quickly.

MANUFACTURER RESPONSE:
At lower heights you will see some movement. This is because the lift assist mechanism kicks in and acts like a shock absorber protecting the system from abuse and player's joints.

Our 10 &12 year old kids competitively play basketball with the Pro-Dunk system on a daily basis. It is by far the most stable, court-like hoop in the neighborhood. Plus it lowers so they can both dunk when they want to have some fun-time to goof around. I foresee this being the only system we will ever need. We are the house all the kids want to come to play basketball because of this hoop!

Installed myself. Pretty straightforward, but did have one question on the anchor system. Of course, it was after the hours of operation. I decided to call anyway....a gentleman answered the phone, didn't have to go through a maze of an automated phone tree, and he was able to answer my question quickly. Definitely a nice touch. After the concrete set up, the install of the goal took 2 people about 45 minutes. I would recommend DIY, if you have someone to help. The hoop has met expectations. We recently moved to the neighborhood and when we meet neighbors they are surprised to know that we only have two kids. Just about every night there are 5+ kids playing basketball. Definitely a good purchase.

Bought this to last at least 20yrs. My prior movable set up didn't last 4 years! The overall construction is solid. Everything about this whole set up is 100% quality. From the awesome customer service, to the installation job from one of their recommended installers, EVERYTHING was top notch all the way. Do yourself a favor, if you plan on keeping it for a long time & you want quality, don't buy from any of the box stores, buy here!

All three of our girls play ball. We replaced a dated old system with Pro Dunk Silver. What a difference! A stable pole and board that delivers solid rebound action. Sturdy industry-leading specs on the entire system that give us peace of mind that it will hold up in PA's 4 season climate and was the best value for our money. We went with the Rust armour to give us even more peace of mind. You guys did a great job educating me why Pro Dunk Hoops is the best. My decision was easy and the system is awesome!

Very good build and quality Hoop system. Shipping aspect was something I was not happy about because parts of the system arrived damaged.

My four boys, who range in age from 7-14 LOVE this hoop. So do all their friends. They adjust it easily and often. Friends visit all the time to play basketball on the best hoop in the neighborhood. We use it multiple times per day. Everyone hangs on it, but it maintains its stability. We are very hard on our toys and this hoop is withstanding all that we dish out.

My boys, 19, 15, and 12 use our Pro Dunk Hoops for hours on end. We had it installed 3 months ago, and it's been active in my driveway almost daily. Solid construction, quality workmanship. We were looking at other big box systems at Dick's & Modell's and all the reviews kept bringing me to Pro-Dunk. The installers I got from the website (Assembly Wiz) were awesome in removing my old system and installing the new one. I would buy this product again and again.

This is just for our driveway. Our son and daughter shoot around on it and my son loves to dunk the ball. We are glad that we bought a system that will last a long time (hopefully). Nothing to really to complain about yet. So far so good.

I've owned a number of hoops over the years, but pro-dunk is easily the best basketball system I've purchased, and a tremendous value for the money. The pro-dunk sales staff were great, as were there preferred installers. I had my hoop delivered and installed within 2 weeks, and would highly recommend their basketball system to anyone who is considering an in-ground system. Materials and finishes are great, and pro-dunk doesn' take any short cuts on post size, glass thickness, padding etc., which makes a big difference on overall play.

My son is 90 pounds, and when he dunks the cylinder with the crank on it jumps and is sloppy. I thought it would be a bit more stable in regards to movement when dunking, yet, it is a very strong system. Other than that the entire unit is awsome. It was very easy to set up and install. The response off the backboard is just like the hoops in a high school gym. The price is unbeatable!

At lower heights the lift-assist cartridge is used as a shock absorber when the system is dunked on. This is to protect the system from abusive play and to keep players safe by being gentle on their joints.

I've only had it for about 3 months but it's the most solid best priced bball system you can get! We live in the country where it's very windy and this thing doesn't move at all and it's very nice how low it will go for my kids! Overall I am very happy with my purchase!

I looked for quite awhile for the right hoop for the driveway so I could play some pickup games with my 2 sons (ages 7 and 5). Pro Dunk Hoops was recommended to me and I was hesitant at first because it was a little more expensive. Boy am I glad I listened to the recommendation. It is easy to use, solid and will grow with my family. It can also be removed from the ground and taken with me if I move! Love it.

Had it installed on 3-car driveway. It is the perfect size for a driveway. If you have enough room that you can have a full three point arc, then you may want to go with the Gold, but otherwise Silver is the right size for the space in my opinion. I would say it is pretty solid, although it vibrates just for a second or two if the ball hits the rim. When dunking with it lowered to around 8 feet it has a little bit of movement when you let go of the rim which causes a little bit of a clanking sound. I am guessing this is either slop in the fit of the linkage pins or the lift cylinder has some play. Overall though I am satisfied with the product and would definitely buy it again.

Was searching for a system the could accommodate lower heights for my young boys, and the big box stores offerings did not fit my needs, not to mention discovering the significant quality difference between "those" other systems and Pro Dunk, made this purchase a slam dunk! Bottom line, it's a quality product with competitive pricing. When you compare cost vs. what you are getting, you won't look at any other, it's a no brainer. Set up was a breeze, i poured the concrete myself, and put it all together a week later with the help of a buddy, and 10 minutes later my five yr old was cranking it down and making baskets. The free ball they throw in is nice too.

I have to say that I was a bit skeptical ordering on line but this set up is outstanding! Besides the hole I had to dig it was very simple to put together and the quality and style is comparable to sets more than double the price. Even the net was exceptional! The hoop drops down to about 5 feet which makes it playable for my 5 year old son. I tore down the old hoop which only went down to 7 feet and was not used and had I done my homework I should have purchased the pro dunk in the first place.I would not hesitate buying this hoop set, for the little bit more than you would pay at a chain sporting goods store you are purchasing a serrious hoop set that will make your neighbors jealous.

This hoop is installed in our driveway for our kids and for me to practice shooting baskets. This hoop is great. Compared to the other hoops in our neighborhood (even the more expensive ones), this is by far the best hoop. It looks and is very stable, strong, fun to shoot on, and very easy to raise and lower. One unexpected side effect is the number of other neighbor kids that now want to play on our hoop, instead of their own. I don't regret the purchase.

It's a neighborhood goal for my son and friends. Used for 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 friendly competition. I was very disappointed with the directions to install the backboard. To me they weren't clear and my installer mad a mistake and didnt include the rim spacers. The backboard eventually shattered and i had to replace it. It cost over $500 which was alot to pay for a mistake/mis-understanding.
