This hoop is installed in our driveway for our kids and for me to practice shooting baskets. This hoop is great. Compared to the other hoops in our neighborhood (even the more expensive ones), this is by far the best hoop. It looks and is very stable, strong, fun to shoot on, and very easy to raise and lower. One unexpected side effect is the number of other neighbor kids that now want to play on our hoop, instead of their own. I don't regret the purchase.

When pouring the concrete base I wish I had used a sonotube. Only time will tell, but I have learned that using a sonotube reduces the possibility of heaving when the ground freezes. Getting the hoop square to the playing surface proved to be a little bit difficult.

I love how easy this was to put together and install. The only hard part was lifting the backboard into place. It definitely takes two grown men to lift but the realistic responsiveness of the backboard is so worth it. Even my picky 16 y.o. son feels like he is shooting on an actual gymnasium hoop

Love pretty much everything about it. I wish it didn't have so much play in the whole system between 6'0" and 7'6". Those are the heights where my kids are playing most and then, when an older kid dunks, the backboard bounces quite a bit.

I decided to place the hoop myself. The instructions were very clear and it wasn't difficult digging the hole and pouring the cement but it did take a couple of days. The only challenging part was putting the backboard on the linkage to the pole. We used a large, free-standing ladder and it took three people working together with a plan to make it work. Now that it is up and together it is awesome. It raises and lowers easily and is rock solid.

We love this basketball system! We have small kids who love that they can play on it! I did the whole setup myself, and it was super easy. Our only complaints are that you have to crank a bunch to get it all the way up or down, and that when I level the rim at 10' it is not perfectly level at 5'. Neither of these are that big of a deal. I'd have given it 5 stars, but I can't say that is is perfect!

MANUFACTURER RESPONSE:
It does take about 60 seconds to go from 5 feet to 10 feet. We geared the actuator low to make height adjustment easy enough for a six-year-old. The down-side to this is that it does take more revolutions of the handle. Most people will not be adjusting it down all the way to five feet cutting down adjustment time as well. In the end, our balance was keeping adjustment time under a minute and making adjustment easy enough for a 6-year-old. I hope this transparency in our decisions helps to clear things up.

I have installed the hoop at the edge of my property and now all the neighborhood kids are out there playing. I had my contractor install a larger than recommended foundation which I believe has taken care of any flexing or bouncing of the rim & pole etc.

4 Kids ranging from 4 - 13 and each can use the goal. Easily adjustable from 5 1/2 feet up to regulation! They love it and I don't have to worry about replacing it a few years down the road.

Solid pro look and feel. Definitely worth the extra money compared to movable base type systems. My two boys, 12 & 8, love the fully adjustable hight which let's them dunk. I installed with help from one friend and had no issues. Highly recommended.

Great product. Installation is straight forward. You do need help to install backboard. Hardest part was digging the whole and cement work. Solid as a rock. Was afraid backboard would vibrate but very little movement. Two boys love it and play and practice every second they can. I'm glad I went with this and not the others. You get a great product for your money. I have yet to find a con on it and have owned it for two months.

Great product. Rock solid as advertised. A few neighbors have hoops from the big box stores. Not nearly as stable as this hoop. I did the install myself with the help of a few neighbors. Video was very helpful for steps when the directions were not perfectly clear.

Bought this for myself and my 9 year old son. Its amazing to have a gymnasium feel glass basketball backboard system in your driveway. This system delivers everything the advertising said it would. The handle to crank it up and down.....my 4 year old daughter does it with ease. The true response when you shoot is amazing for an outdoor system. Would buy this again in a second. Family and neighbor kids think its the greatest. Incredibly happy with this purchase.

We researched a lot of in ground basketball hoops before choosing the Pro Dunk system. The installation was straight forward and followed the install instructions easily. There was even an online install video that gave us a few tips to make install easier. Our boys used to have to go to the park to shoot hoops and now they, and a few other neighbor kids, are spending time shooting hoops at our house. We've only had installed for a month now, but have not found anything to knock about the quality of the system. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I spent almost a year researching what would be the best in ground basketball hoop for our driveway. This is the one, don't waste your time looking at others! The performance and customer support are awesome. Don't be intimidated by the delivery and install. It went very easy and I am so impressed with this company and the quality and performance of the hoop.

I'm a 70-something guy who never made any team, high-school or otherwise, but loved shooting and playing "horse" (we called it "donkey") with my friends as a kid. My idol was Bill Russell. In the spring of this year I picked up a ball for the first time in decades and shot (at) a few with my 8-year-old grandson. To my surprise the old thrill returned so after a little Internet research here I am with this wonderful set up. I shoot a few almost every day (helps to keep me active). I lower the basket when the neighbor kids or my grandson are around. I'm actually getting better! One of my better purchases. Thanks, ProDunk

Replaced an older worn out backboard and goal with a Bronze Pro Dunk system. I feel like this should withstand the test of time and teenage grandchildren and their friends. Both girls and boys play on traveling basketball teams and they use this system to practice shooting as well as having a good time with their friends. We like to keep it adjusted at regulation height to allow them to work on their skills.

we spend hours shooting and playing on this hoop and the backboard is like the one in the high school gym, you don't see any difference when you bank a shot or go for a rebound. I haven't had anything go wrong or any problems a very good basketball system.

We love this hoop, cranks down further than most other units on the market. The 5' crank down was the reason we chose this hoop, so that my 4 year old can make baskets. Most other units only went to 7 feet or so. We have had lots of fun with this hoop and will continue to as our family grows. *Make sure you follow the instructions for the concrete footer, it is a lot of concrete, but it will make a large difference in the long run. I dug, framed and poured the footer myself, no problem. I would recommend this product over and over. Have 2 helpers when installing backboard, it is very heavy, heavy means quality in this case. Thanks **I read the reviews about rust, remember everything rusts if left exposed, touch up paint if necessary and you wont have problems. I am a custom steel fabricator and a little rust with this thick of material will not matter in your lifetime. Touch up paint if it is an eyesore for you.

My kids begged me for this after seeing one at a friends house. I rarely cave in and this was not cheap, but glad I did. The Xbox is now all but forgotten. My kids are all more active and exercise without having to be kicked outside. Win win situation for my family.

Love that my 5&7 yr old can easily adjust to lower height (5.5ft). Installation was a piece of cake. Only minor thing is need a skinny wrench to tighten/adjust anchor bolts once you've placed the pole on the anchor.

Really happy with our Silver Pro-Dunk hoop. I researched hoops at great detail and this was the best hoop for the dollar. My only concern is that the piston that slides in and out of the housing when the hoop is raised and lowered gets to a substantial angle (not in line) when the hoop is less than about 6.5', which seems like a possible weak point. However, Pro Dunk Hoops has confirmed in writing that this is normal and is included in the hoop warranty, so I presume it's fine.

This basketball system has been great so far. We purchased it for "at-home" use for our 4 and 7 year old sons. They are both interested in basketball so we decided to get a quality product that they could grow into. You get more bang for your buck with this basketball system so that is why we purchased from Pro Dunk Hoops.

My family and I love this product. I have 3 boys and they can't wait to go outside and play basketball. I personally love the rim....it's breakaway and it's friendly. My 5 year old loves it since we can adjust the height....
